We are finally able to start our travelling life again since selling our last motorhome in April 2021. We had to get through the remainder of the Covid lockdowns, a breast cancer scare, the passing away of my mum (love you mum xx), and waiting for the new model Nomad Explorer motorhome to be available.
After 4 years, we finally picked up our beautiful new motorhome which we named Lorikeet, or Lori for short after my and Mark’s mums, Lorraine and Riva.

With that much time to think about it, she ended getting an indigenous wrap design by artist Chern’ee Sutton to commemorate our adventures around this amazing country. The new Nomad model has everything we had planned for our new motorhome, including a north-south bed, more kitchen bench space, more solar battery power, and best of all, a 4250kg GVM, so we don’t have to worry about going overweight!

The plan for our new adventures is…there is no plan! Only that we will most likely start travelling north through New South Wales and Queensland to escape the cold, and probably stay inland more than on the coast, and probably for around 3 months.
In preparation, we are updating our packing list and will get a new version of that in Our Lists very soon. See you on the road!
